About the artist

Merlin Summers is a young, autistic artist with a recent degree in Animation from UWE Bristol. Most recently Merlin completed a Micro Commission at NN Contemporary, presented work as part of Bayfield Sculpture Trail, Shrewsbury Museum, Malton Sculpture Trail, and at Turf Gallery.

Merlin previously presented at Weston Museum, as part of the Big FAT Talent Show at F.A.T. Studios and was the recipient of the Big Draw award and RCA and Wandsworth Arts Fringe Creative Bursarles.

Influencing The Truth (2022)

This is the story of one man’s journey through performance, popularity, pain, prison, protein and painkillers.

SURVIVOR (2020)

SURVIVOR was the winning submission of the 2020 Creative Education Trust creative writing competition. It is a story in which a mother and daughter are reunited as a consequence of a strange event.
